About Tustin California
Tustin is located in Orange County in Southern California. As of 2020 Tustin had a population of 80,276. Tustin is close to Santa Ana which is the county seat of Orange County. Tustin was founded by a carriage maker from Northern California by the name of Columbus Tustin in 1870. The city of Tustin was incorporated in 1927. At that time it only had a population of 900 people. During world war 2 a Naval airship base was created on a piece of land south of Tustin. Two airship hangers on the base are registered on the National Register of Historic Places as they are some of the largest wooden structures ever made.
